Welcome to The Tulip Workshop! Join us and hundreds of other flower farms around the world to learn the art and science of growing winter tulips! Bring valuable income to your farm during the traditional “off season” when flowers are in higher demand and sell for a higher value, too.
NEW THIS YEAR: We’ve added a 2nd full day to the program!
The on farm course will start on October 4th, 2026 at Emily’s operation in Waitsfield, Vermont. The timing allows for learning and hands on experience in time for planting for winter forcing. The program typically from from 9am to about 4pm.
The following day, the group will reconnect at Linda’s farm, Little Farmhouse Flowers and wholesale flower bulbs company (Ampersand Bulb Co.) (about 2 hours away) in Jay, New York. (Take the scenic car ferry ride over Lake Champlain to travel between the two).
This program includes:
One seat at our in person 2-day workshop at von Trapp Flowers in Waitsfield, Vermont and Little Farmhouse Flowers in Jay, New York, with a full farm tours and hands on lessons.
Catered lunches.
A printed course book with our ‘Easy-Grow’ cooling and growing chart, variety list, full instructions for soil and hydroponic growing, and more.
Unlimited access to the online course videos
Option to join our private Facebook group for Tulip Workshop students
Workshops payments are non-refundable. Should you need to cancel, let us know and we will try to help you find a replacement for your space.
