Frequently Asked Questions:

  • No. A heated greenhouse or tunnel is not necessary, but you will need a climate controlled space of some sort to force your tulips. We are creative in offering solutions to help you work within your existing infrastructure to find a good space for growing. Linda grows the majority of her bulbs in her basement. In the space of a 6ft folding table she forces over 1,000 tulips at a time and that space can be turned over about 4 times a season. Click here: Have a look at this video of her space last January.

Material is presented in an easy to digest manner and we are available to students for more advice following the end of the course.
